“Chuuni” is short for Chuunibyou which has other meanings associated with it: “8th grader syndrome”, “delusions of grandeur”, etc.
Chūnibyō (中二病) is a Japanese colloquial term typically used to describe early teens who have grandiose delusions, who desperately want to stand out, and who have convinced themselves that they have hidden knowledge or secret powers. It literally translates to “second year disease” (i.e., middle-school second-year), and has been called “eighth-grader syndrome” in English-speaking countries.

Chuuni and Other Delusions… Regarding This Site
So I enjoy watching Anime, reading light novels and Manga. The concept of being Chuuni has always seemed familiar because I remember having gone through that phase. And while looking back… it is a bit cringe, I thought it would be a near idea to apply the style and mindset to a website.
